Charities
Charities are held in very high esteem at Roundwood Park. Our school has been instrumental over the years in raising sponsorship for and the profile of many local, national and international charities.
Since the introduction of the House system, each house, in addition to the whole school charity focuses, has the opportunity to support the work of two charities of their choosing, both at a local and national/international level. Both House Captains and House Leaders have been instrumental in orchestrating this and have done so with a high degree of commitment and enthusiasm. They have the responsibility of organising one Charity Week throughout the year where they will run events or activities as a House.
By continuing to support the work of many charities, we hope to raise their profile further and by doing so raise much needed funds for the important work they undertake.
