*NEW* Opportunity Fund
Introducing the Roundwood Park Opportunity Fund – September 2025
This term, we are delighted to introduce an initiative designed to help more of our students take part in the wide range of extra-curricular activities and enrichment experiences available at Roundwood Park School.
The Roundwood Park Opportunity Fund has been established to offer financial assistance to families who may previously have found it difficult to access these opportunities due to cost. Our aim is to ensure that no student misses out on the chance to participate in the full life of the school.
We believe that taking part in trips, clubs, and other enrichment activities is a vital part of a young person’s educational journey. These experiences help our students grow into confident, well-rounded individuals – true ‘Roundwood Park Leavers’ – ready to flourish beyond their time at school.
This fund has been made possible thanks to a generous donation from an anonymous supporter of the school, whose wish is to help young people access the rich experiences on offer here.
In a wonderful gesture of community spirit, our donor has also offered to match any contributions made by others – up to an annual total of £15,000 – to encourage more families to get involved in supporting one another. If you are in a position to contribute and would like to learn more, please send an email to finance@roundwoodpark.co.uk
To give you a sense of how this fund might be used, here are a few examples of trips we have offered in recent years, along with approximate costs:
Residential: Y7 Norfolk Lakes £335, Y9-11 Rome £890, Y10 Opal Coast £575
Day: Drama Theatre Trip £30-55, Business and Economics Conference £70, Tower of London £15
We are truly grateful for the generosity and care shown by our school community, and we look forward to seeing more of our students benefit from everything Roundwood Park has to offer.
