Danny lives locally and is currently the Commercial Manager for the ScrewFast Foundation. This followed experience gained as a surveyor/estimator for an international company dealing with the transportation, railroad and trucking industry.
Following Roundwood Park, Nick attended Oaklands College in St Albans and has since established a successful career in the media business. After many years editing and producing at Pulse8 media he is currently the Editor and Producer at Ratchet Films.
After completing her A levels in the Sixth Form, Sarah began her career as an accounts manager/executive in a number of companies. From there she moved into marketing and has since moved from her previous position of Senior Launch Manager at EE to become Senior Brand Manager at Boots. [updated May 2013].
Nick gained a BSc in Sports & Exercise Science from the University of Birmingham in 2010. Nick has acquired experience in Sales and Accounts Management and is currently at PWC Legal as a Company Secretarial Technician.
Astin gained a degree in Sport & Exercise Science from Loughborough University in 2009 and stayed to complete an MSc [2010] in Exercise Physiology where her research project investigated the performance relationship between elite athletes and a control population. Astin then continued to use her sports background to work in Nutrition and in Sales related to sporting events. She is currently a Sports Marketing Account Executive for a sports company in London.
Katharine gained a BA (1st class hons) in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and then went on to gain a teaching qualification before spending two years teaching science in a secondary school. Katharine has since moved into the world of commerce where she is now a Management Consultant specialising in business analysis at Accenture in London.
After gaining a BA (double hons) in French & German from the University of East Anglia (UEA), Louise built on her linguistic ability and skills to become fluent in Italian whilst working and living in Italy. Through her record of working in consumer and product research as well as strategic planning, Louise founded her own company,Bertini Research Ltd, where she remains the Director.
Chris graduated from the University of Southampton in 2012 with an MEng (1st class hons) in Computer Science. After gaining experience in web design and software developing, Chris is now a Graduate Engineer at Roke Manor Research.
Gemma gained a BA in the History of Art & Design from Sheffield Hallam University in 2004. Gemma now works for Pulse Staffing’s Health Care International division as a Recruitment Consultant.
After leaving Roundwood Park in 2003, Ruth graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a First Class degree in French & European History in 2007. During her time at university she took part in the Erasmus exchange programme, spending a semester at L’Universite de Franche-Comte as well as working at advertising agency Euro RSCG Worldwide in Paris. After graduating she spent four years in the advertising industry at London agencies CHI & Partners and DDB London, before joining growth strategy and innovation consultancy The Foundation in 2012 as a Senior Consultant.
