After studying Art, ICT, Design & Technology and Business Studies in the Sixth Form, Steven spent 3 years studying for his degree at university before joining the Police force. He is now a police officer and deputy lead instructor at the Herts constabulary based in Watford.
Ashley was awarded an Entrance Scholarship to the University of Wales in Aberystwyth where he gained a BSc in Economics, International Politics and Intelligence Studies. He then studied at the Europa College in Brussels gaining an MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy. He also studied at McGill university in Canada. After gaining varied experience, Ashley embarked on his first of many government posts starting as an Enterprise Policy & Strategy Consultant at the Dept. for Business Innovation & Skills [BIS]. He then worked for a short spell as a Policy Office at the Dept. for International Development before moving back to the Dept. for Business Innovation & Skills as a Private Secretary.

He then got married to Amelie and moved back to Canada. He is currently the Head of Science & Innovation Network at the British High Commission in Ottawa.
Chris gained a BA in PPE [Philosophy, Politics & Economics] from the University of Oxford and then an MBA from Harvard University as a Fulbright scholar. Chris’ career developed in financial and business services investment and he is currently the Assistant Director at Advent International, a global venture capital and private equity firm. Chris visited the school in 2012 to give a talk to sixth form economic students.
Fleur gained a BA in Modern Languages [French, German & Spanish] from Durham University. Fleur remained at Durham where she completed her PGCE. After spells working in Austria and France and teaching practice in secondary schools in England, she returned to Roundwood Park in September 2013 to take up a full time position as a teacher of MFL.
Jo gained a BSc(hons) in physiotherapy from Keele university in 1999. Jo now works as a physiotherapist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust in Stanmore, middlesex.
‘After graduating from Nottingham University Medical School, Anna completed a Hospital Medical Rotation, and further GP training. She worked as a doctor in SW London for 12 years before coming home to Harpenden. Anna married Jonathan Benson in 2003, and they have 2 girls and
a spaniel. They are enjoying living back in Harpenden near to their friends and family’
Marnie Rose Firmin Stuart finally arrived 2pm on the 9th July 2013, only a day late, weighing 6 lb 12 oz.
Chris gained BSc (Hons) in genetics from the University of Aberdeen in 2002. Whilst working in the labs for a few years Chris took an MBA in management from the University of Bradford via distance learning. He has since moved into Data Analysis and is currently an Analyst for Q-Logic Consulting.
