Vanessa Fox (1995)
Vanessa left to take up positions as News Desk Assistant and an Account Executive before taking up a place to read Social & Political Sciences at Cambridge University where she gained a BA (Hons) and later an MA after a period at PwC as a Senior Associate in Corporate & International Advisory.
Vanessa then took part in a number of initiatives as a consultant involving project development in Africa over a few years. She then became Director of Development & Communications at WAJIBU MS in Nairobi, Kenya for 3 years. Next she joined BBC Media Action as a Senior Project Manager in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania for 2 years.
Latterly, Vanessa was appointed the Director for the Africa-Asia Enterprise programme at Sidley Austin LLP in Geneva, Switzerland.
In May 2018, Vanessa took over as CEO of the charity https://farmsforcitychildren.org/ , a charity founded in 1976 by Sir Michael Morpurgo and his wife Lady Clare Morpurgo, that provides week-long residential stays at our 3 working farms in Devon, Gloucestershire and Pembrokeshire for primary school groups from disadvantaged city schools.
