Rory is an established local photographer who regularly contributes and exhibits his work in local galleries. Most recently his work was on display at the New Maymard Gallery in Welwyn Garden City. The exhibition finished on Saturday 14th April and lasted 6 weeks.
Kate studied at St Paul and St Mary College in Cheltenham, gaining a BSc in Geography & Geology. Kate has worked with students on the autistic spectrum for many years before working at a local Foodbank as a coordinator anf currently a Project Leader.
The television programme ‘Silent Witness’ which is currently show on BBC is produced by Ceri Meyrick ( class of 1983 ).
Ceri started as a Radio Production Trainee at BBC Wales, and has worked as a Script Editor and Producer in the UK and Ireland for the BBC, Carlton, World Productions, Granada Kids, Chatsworth, RTE, Parallel and Accomplice.
Ceri Meyrick is a Development Producer at BBC Drama. She runs the BBC Drama Writers Academy with John Yorke. The three month course trains eight writers a year to write for CASUALTY, EASTENDERS, HOLBY CITY and DOCTORS.
Favourite productions she has worked on include: BALLYKISSANGEL, THE CLINIC, DIRTY TRICKS, BERTIE & ELIZABETH, POCOYO, WALES PLAYHOUSE and STREETLIFE.
During Ceris’s time at the BBC she was the story produce for Holby City at elstree studios, the series producer for BBC’s flagship, 4 times weekly soap set in the East End of London, Eastenders.
She also produced the period crime drama, Father Brown and most recently as the produce of BBC1’s pathology/forensic crime thriller ‘Silent Witness’.
Ceri is currently the Development Executive for Daytime drama at the BBC
Kate attended Roundwood Park School, Harpenden from 1976 – 1983 before going on to the College of St Paul and St Mary, Cheltenham from 1984 -1987 to gain a Bachelor of Science (BSc), Geography and Geology. Kate has been heavily involved in working in schools helping children on the autistic spectrum. Most recently she has worked as a Food Bank Coordinator for One Can Trust, which is a charity that facilitates community based projects. The first project is the One Can Trust Foodbank. The foodbank provides support to those in food poverty that are referred by professional agencies in the High Wycombe & South Bucks area. Last year  they provided over 2000 parcels. Kate’s current role as a Project Leader – Foodbank & One Can Hope covers the day to day operations management, volunteer support & encouragement, public speaking & schools engagement and attempting social media support!
Rory Meldrum, since gaining a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering at the University of Liverpool, has worked on projects ranging from stopping the £1 billion Mersey Tidal Barrage, promoting the establishment of Wind Power around the world and building an irrigation scheme in Nepal. He is/was a talented sportsman and played a high level of hockey for Harpenden, Herts County and Liverpool University. He now works as a freelance Environmental Consultant and lives locally.
After gaining a BA (double hons) in French & German from the University of East Anglia (UEA), Louise built on her linguistic ability and skills to become fluent in Italian whilst working and living in Italy. Through her record of working in consumer and product research as well as strategic planning, Louise founded her own company,Bertini Research Ltd, where she remains the Director.
