After studying Music, Performing Arts and Psychology for my A levels at Roundwood I then went onto Keele University to study Music and Psychology as dual honours. I continued to have singing lessons whilst at university. It was during this time that my university singing teacher convinced me to audition for the London Philharmonic Choir and I have been a member since 2005. I’ve had some amazing experiences with the choir including tours to Belgium, Germany, Greece, France, Australia and Kuala Lumpur. I’ve also recorded an album, taken part in the BBC Proms, been on the television, radio, sung for the Queen and at Buckingham Palace. I currently run the choir Instagram account and help to concert manage. Whilst all this was going on I spent a year as a teaching assistant in a primary school before training to be a teacher. I’m currently the music teacher in a large primary school near Wembley. I’m really excited to be here tonight and to see the talent of the current Roundwood students!
