David gained a degree in Politics from Southampton University. He went into Sales at Lloyds TSB before working in the British Army on Project and Change Management and also gaining a PGCE in Adult Learning and Learning Behaviour in Adults at Masters degree level. David then moved again to be Business Change Project Manager at an Insurance firm and now is he is working at Boeing, initially as Chief of Staff and currently as a Business Consultant.
Matt joined RPS in the Sixth Form to study his A levels. He then went to Southampton University and gained a BSc , 1st class honours, in Podiatric Medicine/Podiatry.
He then spent a year at the University of Leeds, within the School of Biomedical Sciences, on an internship within the Arthritis Research UK Centre for Sport, Exercise and Osteoarthritis, where he investigated training patterns and injury in elite and amateur triathletes.
He returned to Southampton to complete his Master of Research (MRes) in Clinical and Health Research.
Currently Matt is working as a Specialist Musculoskeletal Podiatrist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust hospital.
He is also a Specialist Podiatrist to the department of rheumatology at King’s College, London.
Giles is currently a Bioinformatician for the BBSRC in St Albans, having worked in bioinformation at the universities of Nottingham, Warwick and also at Unilever R&D at Port Sunlight. Giles graduated with an MRes in Bioinformatics and a BSc in Biology both from the University of Southampton.
Matt gained a BSc(hons) in Computer Science from the University of Southampton in 2000. Keen on adventure sports, Matt started out running outdoor activity programmes in Scotland before moving to Dubai, where he works and lives. He is currently a professional Coach and Director at North Point Leadership.
After leaving school in 2005, I graduated with a first class degree in Computer Science (BSc) from the University of Southampton. These days I am a Software Developer for a Financial Services company based in London.
Chris graduated from the University of Southampton in 2012 with an MEng (1st class hons) in Computer Science. After gaining experience in web design and software developing, Chris is now a Graduate Engineer at Roke Manor Research.
Andrew gained a BSc (hons) 1st class in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton. He spent three years as a research assistant at the University of Cambridge and this took his career as a software specialist/engineer to remain in the Cambridge area where he is currently Senior Embedded Software consultant at Sagentia.
Alex gained a BSc in Geography from Southampton university then completed a MSc in Environmental Protection and Management from Edinburgh university. Alex previously worked as a research scientist at Sustainable Soils and Grassland Systems at Rothamsted Research in Harpenden. She has now moved to the National Physics Laboratory [NPL] but is currently working part time at Rothamsted Research to complete her latest publication on bioenergy.
