Martha, famed in some circles for her dancing, has made contact to update .
She is married with a young son, and after graduating from the University of Western England (UWE) with a BSc and continuing with further post graduate studies. She now works as a Health Visitor and also as a paediatric nurse at the Bristol Childrens hospital.
Alex writes “I am writing to inform the Roundwood Park Alumni Association that I have recently signed my first book deal. The academic monograph, which will be published by Amsterdam University Press in late-2024, will reappraise the historical and archaeological evidence for the Danelaw. The Danelaw being the Viking area of north-eastern England from c. AD880 until c. AD1220. It will be the first such volume to do this for over 30 years. I am naturally delighted and very excited to be working on such a prestigious project”.
