Following his A levels in the Sixth Form, Ian went up to Cambridge University where he gained an MA in Economics & Mathematics.  He gained further qualifications from the chartered Institutes of Management Accountancy and Insurance. He worked at Zurich Financial Services before moving to be the Operations Excellence Officer for Swiss Re in Zurich.
