Richie Michaels [1995-2000]

Richie is currently the owner of Whisk(e)y Tasting Experiences and National Brand Ambassador at Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey.

After his GCSEs, Richie attended Oakland’s College and gained an Associate degree in Sport & Fitness Administration/Management.

Richie then moved to the USA, joining the degree programme at Bellamine University in Louisville. Kentucky, studying Business administration, marketing and related support services; he graduated with a Batchelor of Business Administration (BBA).

Following his interest in sports, Richie pursued a career in Sports bar management in Louisville. After a spell as Key Account Manager for Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits company, Richie started up his own business which involved whisk(e)y tasting and education events. He combined this with his current role as National Brand Ambassador for ‘Uncle Nearest Premier Whiskey’ in Louisville.
