Student Leadership Group
The Student Leadership Group (SLG) was created to:
- Enable the student voice to have an increased influence in shaping the development and future of the school.
- Offer students opportunities to develop leadership skills and gain leadership experience.
- Provide greater exposure of leadership opportunities to more students, which also offers progression.
- Connect Sixth From student leaders with the entire student body.
We have School and House Captains (SLG Parliament) elected from Year 13s, rather than Sixth Form prefects, who lead school change and development through the House system, in partnership with the other House Leaders, in all forms from Year 7 to Year 11.
Each House works on one clearly defined improvement theme for a year. This enables student leaders to get to the heart of a matter, rather than just skimming across the surface of many, and influence positive changes for all students in our school.
