Kate attended Roundwood Park School, Harpenden from 1976 – 1983 before going on to the College of St Paul and St Mary, Cheltenham from 1984 -1987 to gain a Bachelor of Science (BSc), Geography and Geology. Kate has been heavily involved in working in schools helping children on the autistic spectrum. Most recently she has worked as a Food Bank Coordinator for  One Can Trust, which is a charity that facilitates community based projects. The first project is the One Can Trust Foodbank. The foodbank provides support to those in food poverty that are referred by professional agencies in the High Wycombe & South Bucks area. Last year [2013] they provided over 2000 parcels. Kate’s current role as a Project Leader – Foodbank & One Can Hope covers the day to day operations management, volunteer support & encouragement, public speaking & schools engagement and attempting social media support!
