Lucy gained a BA Hons in Performing Arts from De Montfort University. She worked at St Albans City & District Council as a Licensing Team Assistant and PA to the Head of Department. She then moved to a firm of accountants,ACCA, as a Disciplinary & Regulatory Committee Officer.  Lucy is now an Executive Assistant to the Country Manager & PA for the Directors at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Europe Ltd in London.
