Mark went to the University of Leeds and gained a BSc in Mathematics and Management Studies and then a Master’s degree in International Marketing Management. Mark worked as a database marketing analyst before moving to Sony as a Senior Research & Planning Analyst. Mark is currently working for Nestle in Import planning.
Sid gained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics and Computer Science Technology from King’s College London. After many years of experience in technology and architecture consultancy, Sid switched to consultancy in IT services and ultimately as Senior Director at Oracle before moving to his current position as Solutions – Commercial and Stadium Development at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
After his A’levels Stuart gained a BA in Business & Economics from the Leicester University.
Initially, Stuart worked as a Client Account Manager at Verizon before moving to take up a series of positions at The Independent. Working as a Business Development Manager, he moved on to a number of key positions within the company as Magazine Manager, Group Head – Independent Industry & Education Publications, Senior Online Account Manager to Commercial Partnership Manager.
After a brief spell at ESI as Digital Partnership Manager, he took up new positions with Microsoft as Commercial Partnership Manager and then Business development & Strategy Manager.
He has since joined BT as Commercial Manager-Digital and is currently Head of Advertising Sales & Partnership – Digital at BT.
Elaine is currently the Head of Governance and Stakeholder Engagement and the Head of Programme Management at Health Education England based in London. Her previous roles in Health Management were for the NHS as a Business Manager and Head of Office – Performance and Finance and prior to that as a Business Coordinator at the Department of Health.
Giles is currently a Bioinformatician for the BBSRC in St Albans, having worked in bioinformation at the universities of Nottingham, Warwick and also at Unilever R&D at Port Sunlight. Giles graduated with an MRes in Bioinformatics and a BSc in Biology both from the University of Southampton.
After Roundwood , Andrew studied at Barnfield College and the Arts Institute in Bournemouth. From there he was the Account Manager at the Fielding Group before leaving to set up his own business; Hyacinth Design which specialised in aquatic plants. he is now the Trade Manager at Harrod UK Ltd.
After A levels, Julie attended the Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge where she gained a BA(hons) in Sociology. From there she moved into events management working for the Royal Bank of Scotland and Post Protocol before moving to HSBC in London as Senior Events Manager at HSBC Global Assets Management HK. She is currently still with HSBC but in Hong Kong as Client Proposition Manager.

Jo gained a BSc(hons) in physiotherapy from Keele university in 1999. Jo now works as a physiotherapist at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust in Stanmore, middlesex.

Kate Borthwick was married to Colin Peel on Saturday 4th May 2013. Kate attended Roundwood Park from 1989-1996 and now owns, and is Company Director of, her own private tennis coaching company called ‘Tennis Angels’. We wish them every happiness.
